Level 2 Chassis Stiffening Kit E Body 70-74 Plymouth Cuda

This Level 2 stiffening kit fits E body 70-74 Plymouth Cuda and Barracuda cars. Level 2 starts with frame connectors and four torque boxes, the same parts as a Level 1 kit. Then it adds inner fender braces and a front lower core support brace. As a result, the front of the car stops flexing too. Because the whole structure works together, the car moves as one piece instead of twisting.

The CNC-cut frame connectors tie the front and rear rails together. Meanwhile, the four torque boxes spread force at the suspension mounts. Up front, the inner fender braces firm up the fender structure, while the core support brace ties the front rails together. Some pieces fit factory locations; others reinforce known weak spots.

A stiffer chassis lets the suspension do its job. Springs, sway bars and shocks all work better when the body stays square. Fitment

Installation

These parts weld in. We recommend an experienced shop, with the car supported at ride height so the chassis is not twisted while welding. Before welding, remove undercoating and seam sealer at each weld area.
