Mopar B/E Body Torsion Bar Set – 1.14″

This Mopar B/E Body Torsion Bar Set uses 1.14″ forged bars with a stress-free smooth finish and proper clocking for stock or slightly lowered ride height. These USA-forged bars come in red powder coat until further notice.

Why upgrade your B/E Body Torsion Bar Set

Torsion bars are the front springs on your Mopar. However, factory bars are thin and soft, so the nose dives under braking and the body rolls in corners. A larger bar raises the spring rate. As a result, the front end stays flatter, turn-in gets sharper and the car feels more planted.

Through years of experience tracking, driving and building, we suggest the 1.14″ bar as the foundation for most updated B- and E-body builds. In other words, it’s stiff enough to transform handling, yet it still rides well on the street.

Installation tips

First, unload the torsion bar adjusters before you remove the old bars, and follow a factory service manual. Then install the new bars on the correct sides, and set the ride height with the adjusting bolts. Finally, get a full alignment, since ride height changes affect camber and caster.

Stiffer bars need shocks that can keep up. That’s why we recommend pairing this set with our performance shocks, such as our Bilstein or monotube adjustable shocks.

Which size is right for your build? For most street-driven B- and E-bodies on modern tires, the 1.14″ bar is the sweet spot.
